Personalize the interface to reduce visual complexity

Users want to show, hide, or rearrange interface elements according to their own needs, so the system feels less overwhelming and more focused on the tasks most relevant to them. Problem / Pain: As the system grows in functionality, the interface becomes increasingly dense. Users are presented with a large number of elements, options, and information at once — many of which may not be relevant to their specific role or daily tasks. There is currently no way for individual users to adapt the interface to their own preferences or working style, which can make the system feel complex and harder to navigate efficiently. Impact / Benefit: Personal interface customization would allow users to focus on what matters most to them, reduce visual noise, and feel more in control of their working environment. This would lower the barrier for new users getting started, improve day-to-day efficiency for experienced users, and reduce the cognitive load of working in a feature-rich system. Example use case: A marketing user works primarily with asset search and downloads. They want to hide panels and options that are only relevant to admins or PIM managers, so their workspace feels cleaner and more focused on their actual tasks.
