Add in-document text search with highlighting to the document viewer

Users want to search for specific words or phrases directly within the document viewer and see matching results highlighted. This would make it easier to locate information in longer documents without downloading the file or exposing the underlying text for copying. Problem / Pain The current document viewer protects content well: downloads can be blocked, text cannot be copied, and watermarking can be applied per page. However, unlike standard PDF viewers or browser-based document readers, it does not offer a text search function with highlighted matches. In longer protected documents, manually scrolling and reading page by page slows down users trying to reference or verify content. Impact / Benefit A text search function within the document viewer would help users work more efficiently with longer protected documents. It should allow users to: Search the document’s text content See all matches highlighted on the relevant page or pages Navigate between matches, for example with next and previous controls This would make it faster to reference or verify content without requiring users to copy, extract, or download the file to search it elsewhere. Example use case A user views a document in the detail view and needs to find a specific piece of information, such as a clause in a contract, a term in a specification, or a reference in a long report. The user could search within the viewer itself, without being able to copy/paste or download the file to search elsewhere. Voting note Vote for this idea if this need is relevant to you as well.
