Recover deleted data
Administrators want a controlled way to restore accidentally deleted files without manual recovery steps. This would reduce administrative effort, minimize errors, and improve operational security. Problem / Pain: If files are accidentally deleted, restoring them is currently a time-consuming process and cannot be done directly through the user interface. Administrators must manually locate the deleted files and check for conflicts with newly uploaded files or existing links. Impact / Benefit: A controlled recovery process would reduce the workload on administrators, save time, and prevent errors. Deleted files could be restored more securely, without unnecessary technical detours. Example use case: An end user accidentally deletes a file that is later needed after all. An administrator should be able to locate the deleted file and restore it in a controlled manner without having to resort to technical workarounds.
