Revoke a previously granted file approval
Users want to be able to withdraw an approval that has already been granted, so that incorrectly or prematurely approved files can be corrected without requiring a workaround or manual intervention. Problem / Pain: Once an approval has been granted for a file, it cannot be revoked. If an approval was given by mistake or circumstances change after the approval was granted, there is no way to withdraw it. This leaves incorrectly approved files in an approved state with no corrective action available. Impact / Benefit: Being able to revoke a granted approval would give teams the control they need to correct mistakes and respond to changing circumstances. It would make approval workflows more reliable and trustworthy and reduce the risk of incorrectly approved content being distributed or used without a way to intervene. Example use case: A team coordinator grants approval for a file and later realizes some files are not allowed to be used. Without the ability to revoke the approval, the file remains approved and could be downloaded or used before the mistake is noticed and corrected through other means.
